These terms are the agreement between you and Calisty. Please read Article 4 on training safely with particular care.

Article 1
Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms of use (the “Terms”) are concluded between you and [Registered company name], whose registered office is at [Registered office address] (“Calisty”, “we”, “us”).
They apply to the Calisty Android app and to the website calisty.app (together, the “Service”). By installing the app, creating an account or using the website, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
The way we handle your personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Article 2
Who can use Calisty
In shortYou must be at least 16 years old. One account per person.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Calisty. The exercises involve hanging from and pulling against your own bodyweight, and the training plan is designed for an adult body.
An account is personal. Do not share your sign-in details with anyone else.
Article 3
Your account
In shortKeep your credentials safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You can create an account with an email address and a password, or sign in with a Google account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Keep your password confidential. If you believe someone else has access to your account, tell us immediately at support@calisty.app. You are responsible for all activity under your account until you do.
Article 4
Training safely
In shortCalisty provides training guidance, not medical advice. Consult a doctor if in doubt, check your equipment, and stop if you feel pain. You train at your own risk.
Calisty provides general training guidance. It is not medical advice. Nobody at Calisty has examined you. The app cannot see how you move, does not know your medical history and does not replace a doctor, a physiotherapist or a coach.
Consult a doctor before starting if you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, living with a heart, joint or blood pressure condition, or returning to exercise after a long break.
Stop immediately and seek medical advice if an exercise causes sharp pain, dizziness, numbness or chest pain. Muscle soreness the day after is normal; pain during an exercise is not.
You are responsible for your equipment and your surroundings. Before using a doorway bar, a park frame or any other support, make sure it can hold your weight, and clear the space beneath you. We cannot check this and have no control over it.
You use Calisty at your own risk. Nothing in this Article excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Article 5
Prices and payment
In shortThe starter plan is free. Paid features are billed through Google Play, and Google Play’s refund policy applies.
The starter plan is free and will remain free.
Where we offer paid features, the price and what it includes are shown clearly before you pay. Payment is handled by Google Play, under Google’s own terms. We never receive your payment details.
A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your Google Play subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
Article 6
Acceptable use
In shortUse Calisty for your own training. Do not copy, resell or misuse the Service.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
copy, resell or redistribute the exercises, lessons or illustrations;
access parts of the Service that are not intended for you, or attempt to bypass its security;
scrape or extract data from the Service by automated means;
use the Service to build a competing product;
use the Service in any way that is unlawful or harms other users.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this Article. We will tell you why, unless the law prevents us from doing so.
Article 7
Intellectual property
In shortThe app and its content belong to Calisty. Your training data belongs to you.
The app, the website, the training logic, the lessons, the illustrations and the Calisty name and logo are owned by [Registered company name] or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own training, for as long as these Terms apply. No other right is granted.
Your training data belongs to you. You can export it or delete it at any time, as described in the privacy policy.
Article 8
Availability and changes to the Service
In shortWe do our best to keep Calisty available, but cannot guarantee it. Features may change over time.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.
We may add, change or remove features as the app develops. If we remove a paid feature, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid for it.
Article 9
Liability
In shortOur liability is limited to what the law allows and to the amount you paid us in the last twelve months.
The free plan is provided “as is”, without any warranty other than those required by law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of data or loss of profit. Our total liability towards you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, in particular liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct. Article 4 on training safely continues to apply.
Article 10
Ending the agreement
In shortYou can delete your account at any time. We can close an account that breaches these Terms.
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account from the app settings. Your data is then erased as described in the privacy policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms. We will give you notice and a reason, unless the law prevents us from doing so or the breach is serious.
Article 11
Applicable law and disputes
In shortBelgian law applies. As a consumer, you keep the protections of the law of your country of residence.
These Terms are governed by Belgian law.
Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
Before taking any legal action, please contact us at support@calisty.app: most problems can be solved directly. Consumers residing in Belgium may also contact the Consumer Mediation Service (Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur / Consumentenombudsdienst).
Article 12
Changes to these Terms
In shortWe will notify you in the app before any significant change takes effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. If you continue to use the Service after that date, you accept the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page always shows when the current version came into force.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
